MARS is dedicated to the development of our industry and improving the standards to which it adheres. We work diligently to create awareness and provide current information to both industry participants and consumers alike. This association also functions as a liaison between manufacturers and government agencies, which both regulate and monitor our industry. Since 1979 MARS has played a key role in the development of the present standards and building codes for relocatable structures in Alberta. MARS worked very closely with the Alberta Government to create the Alberta Building Code - Part 10 which deals specifically with industrial relocatable structures. MARS is proud to say that Alberta’s relocatable structure industry and Part 10 of the Alberta Building Code is considered the industry model.
