MARS conducts regularly scheduled meetings throughout the year where our members are offered dinner and the opportunity to hear interesting industry related guest speakers. These meetings are also a forum where members may voice their concerns relating to issues affecting our industry and receive updates on industry developments which impact their business.

MARS provides an opportunity to network and get to know your industry peers. Along with a comfortable General Meeting atmosphere MARS holds events like our Annual Golf Tournament which offers our members a chance to interact on a more informal level.

The MARS Technical Committee has earned an industry wide reputation for providing important information and technical advice on issues that directly affect our industry. Their efforts have elevated the standards of relocatable structures built in Alberta.

Since 1979 MARS has worked very closely with the Alberta Government to better our industry. During that time MARS has developed an excellent working relationship with our Government agencies. Our Liaison provides members with a strong voice for their concerns and keeps them apprised of any developments which may affect their business.

MARS regularly corresponds with similar associations in other provinces and provides information updates to its members on issues and events happening within those groups.

It has been a priority of MARS, since its inception, to see the implementation of a nationwide set of uniform standards to which all manufacturers and suppliers of the relocatable structure industry conform to. Along with uniform building standards, MARS is working toward an accepted standard. With a unified certification program in place consumers could take comfort in the fact that the relocatable structure they purchase is built to the highest standard and conforms to the codes of other provinces or municipalities, should they chose to relocate. MARS is working harder than ever to see this become a reality.
